Genetic variability and character association of Bangladeshi popular varieties of mustard (<i>Brassica rapa L.</i>)

A study was conducted to estimate genetic variability, correlation and direct indirect effects of yield attributes on seed fourteen Bangladeshi varieties Brassica rapa. High heritability coupled with high advance recorded in a number secondary branches plant-1, siliqua plant-1 seeds siliqua-1 indicating the additive genes controlling traits. Significant positive association were observed primary siliqua-1, while negative found days maturity.
